Our Government

Our government is broken into 3 branches. First Legislative, then Executive which is the president and finally the Judicial branch. The framers of our constitution created 3 branches so each one doesn't posess too much power. They also created three branches so each one could have a check on the other one. This setup of checks and balances was implemented so that our country wasn't going to be run like a monarchy.
